As excitement around the WNBA Finals continues to grow, HoopGirls founder Catherine Townsend is reflecting on more than two decades of investing in girls through basketball. What began 22 years ago with a simple belief that girls deserve opportunities to build confidence, leadership, teamwork, and resilience through sport has grown into a program that has positively impacted more than 1,000 young women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
